What is a HEPA Filter?
HEPA stands for "high-efficiency particulate air". This is an advanced mechanic air filtration system. It works by pulling the poor quality air in the home through a fine mesh filter and trapping the harmful particles, leaving pure and clean air to circulate back into your room. What makes our HoMedics Tower Air Cleaner special is the carbon pre-filter, this combats nasty odours caused by tobacco smoke and pets.

I realise that some of the other reviews are less than favourable, but I have to say it is fantastic. 3 of us are sharing one bedroom as we're on with renovating our house. We are sick of dusk and muck so I thought I'd buy an air purifier. We turn it on around 4 hours before bed and close the door. What result; the bedroom is like an oasis of clear air.Date published: 2019-02-04Rated 1 out of 5 by DUSTY 1 from Rubbish I bought this .did not work .
