When regular exercise becomes a challenge because of age, illness, reduced mobility or disability, the HoMedics Leg Exerciser provides an easy way to keep joints mobile by providing regular gentle exercise from the comfort of your own chair. Designed in consultation with Occupational Therapists the Leg Exerciser moves your feet and legs for you, simulating walking without the impact and reducing stress on your joints.

Three progressive distance settings allow you to select the level that is right for you. We recommend that you always seek the advice of your GP or other medical professional before embarking on any new exercise program. Please read the instructions before first use and always build up any new exercise routine gradually, starting with a few minutes on level 1 and building up each day.

Three Distance Settings
While the machine moves your feet and legs for you, circulation is stimulated and swelling, and discomfort can be reduced without undue stress on your joints. Three progressive distance settings allow you to select the level that is right for you and to progress gradually as mobility improves; gently getting you back to enjoying the things you love.

Easy To Store
The HoMedics Leg Exerciser has an easy-to-carry design, and being compact in size makes it ideal to store away when not in use.

Remote Control
The easy to use remote control, allows you to increase/decrease the exercise level you are on and to play or pause the exercise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leg Exerciser Purchased for an elderly person with severe mobility challenges. Easy to use with remote control unit (especially if someone else is operating the unit on behalf of the user). It has 3 speed settings - but I would have liked a couple more. However after a couple of months using it almost daily, noticed a positive difference in the circulation of the lower legs and feet. (Felt warmer to the touch). It also slightly exercises the thigh, knees and calves gently. The only slight downside is that the electrical lead could have been longer and the unit makes a buzzing noise when using it - and it bleeps unnecessarily at the start and end of each cycle - but itŠ—Ès not too distracting. Another slight downside is that the button in the centre of the unit is not well placed as the user can accidentally change to speed of the unit (or can stop/pause it) just by moving their feet to the centre panel. Overall, very happy with this product and would recommend it. The online customer service of the team at HoMedics is great. They responded very quickly to a small query about the product before it was purchased. Delivery arrived swiftly. Thanks HoMedics!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easing the joints My knees and ankles are now suffering from playing too much sport as a youth, and are now stiff, or worse. The passive walking seems to be working to add a little movement, without risking further damage to the joints. Time will tell how much improvement is possible, but in my current state, any small improvement is a big help

Can this device help to raise a slow pulse rate. My Father has AF and needs to keep his heart rate up as its low. His mobility is not good so would this used regularly every day help strengthen his legs and give a bit of cardio as it mimics walking?

Asked by: Lizzy32
The unit is designed to simulate walking which will improve mobility and help with sore or aching feet. For further advice we would recommend to consult the GP as we are unable to provide any medical advice.
