Rated 5 out of 5 by Miro from The nano coil filter I was replacing the filter after exactly 12 months. It is not cheap to replace both filters (around £30 for both) but this air purifier works well at least for me. One last thing to mention the air purifier can be tough to get clean, particularly fans and housing.

Can this filter be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner(and should it)? and if so, how frequently? TIA

Dear Steve 666, Yes this filter can be cleaned. We recommend using a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzel attachment. We recommend cleaning the filters once a month with standard use and every two weeks if you use the AR-NCO2 for more than 4 hours per day. Kind Regards, HoMedics Customer Services.
