The 3 Steps Of Skin Care – CTM

When it comes to skincare, we NEED to care because at the end of the day, what’s natural is what counts!

When it comes to beauty routines, as much as we love makeup, curating a skin care routine and investing in relevant products is equally important. Depending upon your skin type, the routine may vary but the most basic routine is the CTM that can be used by everyone and stands for Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing.

Step 1. Cleanse
The first and foremost step is to cleanse religiously using a face wash followed by cleansing milk or oil to ensure that all the products that you may have used on your face and neck, come off. This prevents the pores from being clogged. Using cleansing milk or oil makes way for double cleansing which basically means you can skip Step 2!

Step 2. Tone
If you prefer to not use a cleansing milk post a good face wash session you can opt for the use of toner instead! They remove the residual makeup and hydrate your skin making it supple. You can opt for a good face mist if not a toner.
If you like to use natural products, green tea and rose water are great! Just splash some green tea or rose water on your face after cleansing and let it dry and dive into step 3 immediately!

Step 3. Moisturize
And finally, prevent your skin from moisture loss by moisturizing! This creates a layer between your skin and the outside atmosphere so that your skin doesn’t look dull or feel dry. Always apply moisturizer on damp skin to lock the water in.
