What are the benefits of compression massage?

Compression massage helps to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, minimise muscle tension, enhance flexibility, ease discomfort and encourage relaxation.

How is compression massage different to other massage methods?

Unlike traditional massages that rely on manual motion, compression massage uses inflatable chambers to deliver consistent, rhythmic pressure that targets specific areas.

Can air compression be used with other treatments?

Compression massage works well with different fitness, self-care and recovery routines. Combining it with exercise, stretching, yoga, meditation and other therapeutic activities can enhance feelings of relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Do I need to purchase a modulair controller for each wrap?

Nope. All four wraps (calf, knee, foot and wrist) are powered by the same modulair controller, so you can switch between wraps as and when you please. If you want to enjoy a compression massage using more than one wrap simultaneously, then you’ll need to purchase additional controllers.

How does the universal controller work with all the different wraps?

The innovative SMRTflex chip is the core of the modulair controller. This chip uses advanced technology to detect the accompanying wrap before powering it. When the modulair controller is securely placed into your chosen wrap, it establishes a connection that links the two together.

How long does the controller last on a single charge?

The modulair controller has a runtime of up to 5 hours once fully charged (which takes about 3 hours).

How do I know when the controller needs recharging?

The light ring around the power button will change from white to red when it’s time for a battery boost.

What do the four air compression programmes do?

Offering alternating, full, sequential and pulsing compression massages, the four programmes give you a choice of compression massages that vary in pressure, pattern and length. Each one repeats for the recommended usage time of 15 minutes.

Can I adjust the intensity?

Absolutely, there are 5 intensity levels to choose from. We recommend you start with a lower intensity level and gradually work your way up.

Should I consult my doctor before using modulair?

If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or any concerns around your health, we advise that you seek guidance from your GP prior to use. The modulair system is not recommended if you have diabetes.
