Eye Revive Luxe
Refresh and revive tired eyes with a combination of eye massage therapies from HoMedics Beauty. The new Eye Revive Luxe is our latest eye massager, perfect for boosting circulation, soothing that tired feeling and enhancing your moisturiser's potential.
Making The Most Of The Revive Luxe
After removing any eye makeup, a great way to boost your eye massage is to apply a small amount of your favourite eye cream or light moisturiser to the area (taking care not to get too close to the lash line). Holding the device by the stem, gently apply the handheld device in circular motions to encourage the cream to absorb and rejuvenate your skin.
One Button For Three Treatments
Satisfyingly simple to use, just hold the power button to turn on. Then switch between treatments with a single click, then place the massage head against your upper cheekbone.
With numerous muscles at work to keep your blinkers on whilst we're yawning, laughing and frowning - it’s no wonder that your eyes show the earliest signs of ageing. Unlike the rest of your body, the skin around the eyes doesn't hydrate itself quite so easily.
Stimulate the blood circulation around your eyes with the HoMedics eye massager and kick-start the oxygen and nutrients needed to combat the symptoms of tired eyes like wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness.

As such, you get a great value of for money, but I had encountered an important issue in its' design and branding. First of all, it's a great skin massager, that everyone should include in their anti-ageing routine. There's no question about it. I have tried it for two weeks and it really did remove some of my fine lines and gave my face that "fresh and rested" look. However, there is an issue with the use of red light alongside the temperature and vibration features. The device is advertised as " an eye massager" and I bought it for that purpose. I was looking for an eye massager with vibration and temperature modes, but I would not use the red LED light on my eyes. It has been proven that LED light causes damage to eyesight (see "Light-emitting-diode induced retinal damage and its wavelength dependency in vivo", Shang et al., 2017). Whether this is disputable or not - it certainly can cause enough anxiety for a customer to try to do it, so this mode should be optional. Nonetheless, I ordered this product, because the red light works great on the thicker face skin. I thought that I would just use it for other problems, such as mimic or frown lines. Unfortunately, when the massager arrived, I discovered that it cannot get into a vibration mode, without switching on the red light first. As I wouldn't like to take risks, I ended up using it on my face, but I not on my eyes. Not only it is inconvenient, that I have to use two different devices to perform a full face massage, when I could use one - I also now have to order a different eye-massager, one without the red light! For this reason, I rate it only at 3 stars and suggest that this device should be branded as a "a face massager", not "an eye massager" Please, take that into consideration.Date published: 2019-06-28

I’ve read reviews that say the light is very bright. What does the light do and is it safe to use regularly?Dear FJ01, The Red light therapy improves skin firmness around eyes. Yes it is safe to use regularly. The HoMedics Eye Revive Luxe should not be used on the eyelids just around the eyes. Kind Regards, HoMedics Customer ServicesDate published: 2019-03-11
What is the result of light and vibration on the upper eyelid? Does it hurt the eyeball or deepen the wrinkles? Please explain the principle to me, thank you very much.Dear Yoyo, Even light rubbing can double the pressure in your eyes. Activities such as removing makeup or wiping away tears can add even more pressure. Aggressive eye rubbing can increase eye pressure by as much as 20 times. For most, the pressure will return to normal after they finish rubbing, but some with certain eye conditions risk seriously harming their vision. Those with progressive myopia, common type of shortsightedness, can find that excessive rubbing worsens their vision. In some cases, their retina may detach from the back of the eye due to the extreme pressure. Rubbing can harm the front of the eye as well. The combination of the pressure exerted and the rubbing motion of the hand can potentially damage the cornea. This may either cause a tear, or weaken the cornea and cause it to be misshapen, resulting in a condition called keratoconus. Both causing significant loss of vision. Therefore we do not recommend using the Eye Revive Luxe on your upper eyelids. Best Regards HoMedics Customer ServicesDate published: 2018-12-17
Can it be used to massage the upper eyelids? If not, why?Dear Nancy66, No the Eye Revive Luxe should not be used on the upper eyelids. This is due to the light and vibration that the Eye Revive Luxe produces. Kind regards, HoMedics Customer services.Date published: 2018-12-14
